Orchids

IMG_0096

Orchids have been amusing us with their unsurpassed beauty and assortment of colors depending on their variety and even today, I always get amazed by their tenacity to be the focus of attention of so many flower enthusiast and gardeners like me. I am not a collector but I admire their beauty so once in a while I pick a plant that catch my attention from the farmer’s market.

This particular orchid is in the family of spider orchids. I am featuring this not only because it is fascinating to look at but it is its second time flowering and I’m proud of it. I always keep the spent-flowered orchid plants in the garden and water them everyday hoping I will get a second set of flowers and this time I did. I am happy.
