Vanda Orchids
Vanda Orchids are one of my favorites. I’m surprise to see them thriving in my cousin’s place in the Philippines when I went on vacation two years ago. The color pink is quite amazing. I’ve seen them in different colors here in Hawaii. I love the color blue the most. I know it is the rarest of all the colors among the whole Vanda family of orchids so it is more expensive.
My sister used to collect them when we were still living in the Philippines. She hangs them in a basketful of charcoal and for fertilizer, she just put egg shells in each basket. It is quite a sight when all of them are in bloom.
