Caterpillar

I did not think much of it, but when I saw the caterpillars gnawing the leaves of my passionflower plant I was surprised. I have this plant a long time in the garden and I never see any caterpillars before. I didn’t think they would like the tough leaves of the plant. No wonder I see butterflies in my garden everyday now. The ones I see are mostly orange and black in color, local Hawaiian Monarch butterflies.
I guess, I should just welcome my uninvited guests with open arms.
