Toad

I almost always have surprise every time I go to the garden. There’s the cat and the kittens and this time it’s a toad and it is big too. I always wonder how the soil in my potted eggplant gets disturbed every time as if something is scratching it and leaves an indentation. Then one day I was watering and there it was, a big toad! I just have to take a picture. Luckily I have my camera that day. But the pictures did not turn good except for this one. What can I say, it keeps hopping on me, I can hardly keep up. It makes me smile every time I think about it.

  • Kaffir Lime leaves

I have this Kaffir Lime tree in my garden for about a year now. I bought it from a nursery when it was only about 6 inch high. It is almost five feet tall now except I have to prune it so it would stay dwarf. I would gather the leaves for my Thai cooking…

  • Thirst Quencher

I call it the thirst quencher because it sits right in the middle of nowhere by the beach and anybody who would pass by it would surely be filled and satisfied having a drink from this fountain. I took some photography lessons a while back and this is one of the pictures I took as…
