My previous blog talks about cacti and succulents. I have this Christmas cactus for a long time and as expected, it flowers during Christmas season. It never fails. I really enjoy the pink flowers every time. Easy to care for, Christmas cactus is also easy to propagate. I accidentally broke a branch and I put it in a pot with a cactus soil mix. It’s been growing well now and I put it in a hanging basket. I can’t wait till it flowers.

I was successful enough to grow this vanilla plant and made it flower hoping I will get the vanilla beans that comes after flowering. But unfortunately, no matter how I tried to pollinate the flowers, no luck with the beans. I guess, I have to look for the bee that does the job properly.
