Fig

I have a friend that grows a fig tree in her garden. It grew so big and once in while she has to prune it. She let me tried the fruit before and it was sweet. So I asked for some stems and maybe I can try to grow them myself. I did and now it’s giving me fruits. The challenge of growing the plant just from a stem is a really rewarding experience no matter how long it takes. I get a sense of accomplishment. I actually were able to grow two plants. I gave one to my brother for his kids to enjoy.

Once in a while I have uninvited guests in my garden. This gate crasher looks like he really feels at home. I don’t mind. He chases some mice that might be eating my crops so he’s a a little helper actually. And he looks cute too.
