Spearmint

Spearmint is the most commonly used type in the family of mint. They refer to it as mint in recipes like the Vietnamese summer rolls or in the cocktail drinks like mojito. There are other varieties like peppermint, pineapple mint and chocolate mint. I just like to have them in the garden to use as flavorings for my tea. I enjoy the different varieties of mint so I tried to plant different kinds but only the spearmint, peppermint and pineapple mint stayed strong for me.
Mints are not that hard to grow, in fact it will grow wild in your garden if you let it. So I contained them in clay pots and keep them watered everyday.
